POSSIBILITIES

what may arise

Expanded
consciousness

Many participants experience a sense of interconnectedness, spiritual opening, or renewed meaning that can shift how they relate to themselves and life.

Deep healing of unresolved material

We create the conditions for unprocessed emotions and trauma to surface and release through the body in a safe way.

Support of the community

Breathwork takes place in a shared setting, where the presence of others can deepen the process. Participants find meaning and safety in being held in a collective field.

Connection with inner wisdom

The process supports direct contact with the psyche’s innate intelligence, often bringing clarity, creativity, and guidance.

FACILITATORS

Gabriela Dworecki Domingues &
Ada Perkowska

We are two experienced facilitators and friends, trained in Holotropic/Grof Breathwork and transpersonal psychology. Our training has been extensive and deeply experiential, preparing us to hold these spaces with clarity and presence. Guided by the core principles of this work, we trust in the psyche’s innate movement toward wholeness and the healing intelligence within. Our role is to create a safe set and setting that supports connection with this intelligence and allows the transformative potential of expanded states to unfold.

We are passionate about sharing this practice and remain committed to it as part of our own ongoing inner exploration.

Gabriela is a Brazilian native deeply immersed in the healing potential of non-ordinary states of consciousness. Her current practice focuses on GROF Breathwork, Psychedelic Care and Internal Family Systems.

She is inspired by the cathartic potential of music and visionary art, and feels nourished by walking barefoot in nature, befriending doggies, and singing her heart out amongst medicine families around the world.

Ada has a background in psychology and an online practice grounded in somatic and transpersonal approaches. She is passionate about the healing potential of non-ordinary states of consciousness and has been regularly facilitating Holotropic Breathwork in her native Poland.

Her interests include mysticism, deep ecology, poetry, and contemporary dance. She draws inspiration from nature and lives a simple, slow life in a valley by the ocean.

REFLECTIONS

Loved it for all that it was and every beautiful soul I had the pleasure to meet and be nourished by! I am meditating more, carving more time for self care and some free writing. I feel more clear and spacious + having some bat crazy dreams! It was such a wholesome experience for me, definitely feeling lighter and much less burdened.. thank you for the encouragement to express what I had stored. The love and care you both gave in creating a safe space so beautifully it really was so gracious and loving.

The therapeutic benefits of Holotropic Breathwork are remarkable.
The healing of illness, anxiety, depression and conflict, the release and healing of trauma and abuse, the reintegration with family and community… the opening of compassion, forgiveness, courage and love, the reclaiming of purpose, the finding of our lost soul and the higher insights of spiritual understanding all come spontaneously from the unfolding of this powerful process.

ORIGINS

what is Holotropic Breathwork?

Holotropic Breathwork is a powerful method developed in the 1970s by psychiatrist Stanislav Grof together with his wife Christina Grof. It uses accelerated breathing, evocative music, and focused bodywork to access expanded states of consciousness. In these states the psyche’s natural capacity for healing and insight is activated, allowing unfinished experiences, emotions, and inner images to surface and integrate.

The practice continues to be carried forward and enriched by dedicated practitioners around the world.

It is offered in a carefully structured process that includes preparation, breathwork sessions, and integration. All of this unfolds in a safe and supportive setting, with facilitators trained to accompany participants through their unique inner journey.

The theoretical framework of Holotropic Breathwork integrates insights from modern consciousness research, anthropology, various depth psychologies, transpersonal psychology, Eastern spiritual practices, and mystical traditions of the world.

frequently asked questions

What happens in a Holotropic Breathwork workshop?

Formats vary, but most group workshops run for a full day or a weekend, including preparation, two breathwork sessions (one as breather, one as sitter) with music and optional focused bodywork, and integration time for art, sharing, reflection and nature.

What can I expect to experience in a session?

Every session is unique. Experiences can range from emotional release to physical sensations, vivid imagery, memories, or spiritual insights. Sometimes the process is gentle, sometimes it is intense.

Is it safe?

Yes, when practiced with trained facilitators and proper screening. Some medical and psychiatric conditions may be contraindications, so participants complete a confidential form beforehand.

Is it like psychedelic therapy?

Holotropic Breathwork was developed after Stan Grof’s pioneering LSD psychotherapy research. It offers access to expanded states without substances, and with a strong emphasis on set, setting, and integration.

Do I need prior experience?

No previous experience is needed. What matters most is openness and willingness to engage with your inner process.
